Dr. David Liang was born in Taiwan and has lived in the United States since 1992. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, San Diego in 1999 with a B.S. in Bio-engineering. In 2005 he received his D.D.S. from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. In 2008 Dr. Liang pursued further training at Emory University, where he received his M.D. and completed a post-graduate internship in General Surgery. He completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at NOVA Southeastern University and Broward General Medical Center in 2012.
Dr. Liang performs the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with special interests in dento-alveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, maxillofacial trauma and oral pathology. He is an active member of both national and regional societies that include the American Dental Association, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. He is certified in Advanced CardiovascularLife Support (ACLS) as well as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
On a personal level, Dr. Liang is a caring, compassionate, sincere individual with a professional and courteous chairside manner. He is dedicated to providing the very best care for his patients. In addition, he has an interest in teaching and has always enjoyed sharing his knowledge with patients, students and younger surgeons in training. He will continue this endeavor in his practice and through his involvement in the Washington Hospital Center residency training program.
In his spare time, he enjoys running, biking, swimming and traveling. He also loves playing tennis and basketball.
